The short version: it's a free joke bot. Use it, enjoy it, don't be a dick with it.
What it is
Hammered of Witches posts passages from the Malleus Maleficarum (1486), a real and genuinely hateful historical text, for history and dark comedy. Nothing it says is advice, and none of it is endorsed. Please don't actually hunt witches.
Don't be a dick
- Don't use it to harass, threaten or target anyone.
/accuseis a joke between friends, not a way to go after someone. - Don't use the book's bigotry against real people.
- Don't try to break, overload or abuse the bot.
- Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which apply to everything you do with it.
Server admins
You choose what the bot shows in your server with /setup. Its content filters work by keyword, so
they're good but not perfect. If something gets through that shouldn't, hide it with /setup hide,
and please report it so the filter can be
fixed. What's appropriate for your server is your call, and your responsibility.
No guarantees
The bot is provided as-is, for free, with no warranty. It may be down, wrong, changed or shut off at any time. It can also be removed from any server that uses it to break these terms.
Changes
These terms may change. If they do, this page will say so, and using the bot after that means you're fine with the new version.
